National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), of New Delhi has determined to take NIFT entrance exam for the year 2015. Date for this exam has been decided and it is announced on their official website at www.nift.ac.in. As we all know that NIFT 2014 Exam is a gate way to get admission in designing courses so all students are advice to apply for this exam as soon as possible. After 8^th January, 2015 no one will be able to apply for this exam.

The NIFT exam will be taken computer-base and also paper base. This exam is been conducted every year. Students require to pass this entrance exam compulsorily to be able to take admission in Bachelors of fashion communication, (B.F.Tech) in apparel production,design programs, fashion design, knitwear design, leather design, Bachelor of Fashion Technology and textile design,  Master of Fashion Technology (MFT) programs, Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Design for the academic year 2015 – 2016.

Age limit:

• For Bachelors Programs: applicant age should not be more than 23 year as on 1^st October, 2013. Age relaxation of 5 year is given to those who belong to SC caste or from Tribe.
• For Masters Programs: There is no age limit to apply for masters.

Education Qualification: Every necessary detail about education requirement is stated below.

• For Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) and Bachelor of Design (B.Des) Post:Applicant who has passed HSC with subjects of science and from any central board is eligible for this course.
• For Master of Fashion Management (M.F.M) and Master of Design (M.Des) post: Candidate who has achieved graduation degree from well known university by law of India or UG Diploma are eligible. Course must be of at least 3 years from NIFT/NID only.
• For Master of Fashion Technology (M.FTech) post:Applicant who has passed B.F.Tech from NIFT or B.Tech /B.E. is eligible .

Application fees:

• For OBC /General category: Rs 1200/- as application fees.
• For SC/ PHP /ST category : Rs 600/- as application fees.

Mode of Payment:

Online Mode: To pay online one can use Net banking or Debit Or Credit card.

Offline Mode: To pay offline you can use Bank Demand draft facility and send application form on stated address.

NIFT 2014 Exam Pattern

• Phase 1 : It will contain Paper Based Exam1 (PBT1)
• Phase 2 : It will contain Paper Based Exam2 (PBT2)
• In both phases below teste will be taken
  • CAT- Creative Ability Test
  • GAT- General Ability Test
  • Group Discussion/Personal Interview
  • Situation Test

• Then (CBT1) Computer Based Test will be conducted .In both the phases, following tests will be conducted.
