Games and Sports
We cannot live
without food and drink. Similarly, our health will break down without exercise.
Games and Sport play an important role in exercise. Body and mind should work
at their best, and they cannot do so unless both are in good order. The limbs
must be- supple, active and obedient. The best way to keep the limbs fit is to
exercise them in sports and games of physical skill and strength.
Sports and games
are means of mental and physical growth.
Games can be both
outdoor and indoor. Outdoor
games include hockey, cricket, basket ball, football. And indoor games include
Chess and many.. Outdoor games makes fit our body & Indoor games sharp our
mind.. Both are very important in our life..
During sports we
come to learn many things. We learn how to maintain mental balance in the midst
of hopes and despair.
They make us
learn how to tackle the difficult situation.Sports develop a sense of
friendliness.
The games and
sports develop a team-spirit among the students. The students also learn how to
work together, under a captain. Students learn the spirit of obedience,
discipline and fairness. These virtues are learnt better through games than
through books.
They help in
developing mental and physical toughness.They shape our mind, body and make it
strong and active.
They give us
energy and strength.They improve blood circulation. This improves our physical
well-being.
If we don’t play
games our mind and body will be not active and fit.many mind games like chess
improve our mind power.. when we play chess our mind need to work, and we all
know that if we don’t use our mind it will rust..
Sports and games
improve our capability. They improve our efficiency. Either study or work alone
makes us exhaust. Sports remove our mental exhaustion. Sports are integral part
of education. Education without sports is incomplete.
